PlayNitride’s energy consumption consists primarily of purchased electricity, accounting for 95%, followed by natural gas at 5%. Therefore, energy-saving initiatives are targeted at electricity and natural gas.
Energy Saving Initiatives
Valuing the green economy and reducing air pollution, all corporate vehicles are electric vehicles.
Although the current production facilities are leased, commitment remains steadfast in enhancing energy efficiency. Energy consumption is analyzed to continuously promote energy-saving initiatives, and plans will be made in due course to procure renewable energy or install renewable energy power generation equipment.
All company vehicles are electric vehicles, and charging stations have been installed for use by all employees.
Water Resource Management
As PlayNitride has been in the mass production and development stage since 2021, water withdrawal has increased alongside production capacity expansion. However, the company continues to optimize chip cleaning processes and parameter adjustments to annually reduce water intensity (water consumption per COC), creating more efficient process technologies.
