Waste Management
Since entering mass production in 2022, PlayNitride has implemented rigorous waste management protocols to control output. We strictly comply with regulations for reporting the generation, storage, removal, and disposal of all waste materials.
Waste Reduction Measures
Since organic solvents are essential consumables in the manufacturing process, their usage increases with production volume. Through process optimization, multiple stages have been converted to DI water cleaning to reduce or eliminate the use of acetone. This reduction in organic solvent consumption per unit of product has decreased waste solvent generation and lowered VOCs emissions.
